Drinking the Social Network Juice

I drank the kool-aid and thought I was dying...well, maybe just turning into a zombie. Everyday, same-o-same-o. Email, Facebook, Pinterest, Instagram, so on and so on.

I wonder if anyone has had this feeling? You're so into the social networks, tapping away at the keys trying to become a well known author, running from one site to another. Promoting, marketing, socializing, trying to get your point across...you loose your sense of life. What are you doing?

I was lost. Totally confused on who I was trying to get my information to. Sharing others and wonder if they were doing the same for me. Did they really care?

It was like an Alice in Wonderland moment. ..big empty room, filled with strange people you never really see and the question of WHAT ARE YOU DOING? Bounced from wall to wall and across the internet. Am I making a difference? Does anyone care? Is anyone even reading this? 



 

And then I saw a notification from one of the social networks and I was alive and running. Someone cares.
